Please give me details on the company California Dental Network, located in Orange County California is a Dental Health Plan that offers a wide range of comprehensive dental benefit plans. California Dental is committed to offering the best value for the member's dollar with some of the most comprehensive schedule of covered benefits, the lowest copayments for treatment and the largest selection of dental providers and a Member Service Dept. that is committed to be second to none in the industry. California Dental is licensed by the California Department of Managed Health Care under the Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act. This is one of the most comprehensive regulatory programs in the United States.
How soon can I use my plan? When applying online, you can enroll up to the last day of the month for an effective date of the first of the following month. When applying with a hard copy Enrollment Form, if the company receives it by the 20th of the month, you will be eligible on the first of the following month.
Do I get an ID Card? When? When applying online, you will immediately be given a confirmation number. You will be sent and actual ID Card with your ID number, a Member Service phone number and a policy with all plan details.
Are there Pre-existing Condition exclusions? No. The only condition would be if you are in Orthodontic treatment. The Orthodontic benefit would not be covered.
Are there waiting periods? The only waiting period would be waiting for the first of the following month. You can apply online up to the last day of the month for an effective date of the first of the following month. Full benefits start at that time.
Do I receive bills? Claim Forms? There are no bills and no claim forms for you to complete.
Am I locked in to one dentist? No. You choose a dentist to start but can change dentists later by notifying the company. There are more than 2000 dentists in California that accept these plans.
Do you cover groups? Yes. Better plans and rates with a group plan. If your company has 2 or more employees, we can design an excellent plan for you and your employees or fellow employees.
